Exploring ‘Pilipinas’: A Cultural Journey at the 2023 Letchworth Open Exhibition
The Letchworth Open Exhibition, held annually at the Broadway Gallery, is a celebration of artistic diversity and creativity. In its third year, this event brings together artists from Hertfordshire and beyond. This year, showcasing the unique perspectives of over 400 artists across the range of visual arts
Amongst the artworks on display is my own piece, ‘Pilipinas,’ from the series bearing the same name. This series holds great significance to me as it delves into and reflects my heritage, embodied by Filipino culture and identity.
Each year the Letchworth Open supports three artists through the Open Bursaries. The Bursaries are designed to provide artists the opportunity to develop a small body of work that will be exhibited in the Broadway Gallery.
Most of the artworks on display are available to buy, and sales support both the exhibiting artists and the Broadway Gallery’s exhibition, events and learning programme. For all enquires please speak to a member of the team.
